We invite proposals of early career researchers for papers at a workshop on ‘The Neglected Methodologies of Inteational Law – Empirical, Socio-Legal and Comparative’.

The workshop will conclude with the keynote speech delivered by Prof. Eyal Benvenisti (Whewell Professor of Inteational Law, University of Cambridge).

What are the factors for the success or failure of federal systems?

How do federal systems accommodate or facilitate asymmetries and diversity?

Is the European Union a federation in the making?

What impact does federalism have on fiscal relations, social welfare and policy fields such as land use and the environment?

What lessons can be leaed from comparative practice?

CFP: Indian Joual of Constitutional & Administrative Law, Volume II Issue I

Submissions due: 31 December, 2017

The Indian Joual of Constitutional & Administrative Law (IJCAL) is a student-edited, peer-reviewed, open access, bi-annual law review. IJCAL seeks to encourage path breaking research work in the fields of Constitutional Law, Comparative Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Theory, and other ancillary subjects like Legal Philosophy and Inteational Law, in order to revolutionise the traditional study of Constitutional Law in India. The Joual, being a bi-annual law review publishes two issues in a year; one in March, another in September.

CFP: The Editors of the Melboue Joual of Inteational Law (‘MJIL’) are now inviting submissions on areas of interest in inteational law for volume 19(1), to be published in July 2018.

For consideration for inclusion in the print issue of volume 19(1), authors should submit on or before 31 January 2018.
